About our Liberal Studies
Associate Degree: Science Focus

Are you one of those people who watch medical science shows on TV and is fascinated (instead of nauseated)? If you look up at a bird soaring through the sky and find yourself wondering how his wings handle the wind forces, or if you find yourself thinking about the wonder of the human body and the elegance of function, you will enjoy the hands-on laboratory sessions and the deeper insights of this curriculum.

This associate degree program is designed to transfer as the first two years of a four-year Bachelor of Science degree. The curriculum provides students with a solid foundation in science, along with many of the general education courses necessary to complete a more advanced degree at the university of their choice.

Please note: You are only eligible to receive one Associate in Arts in Liberal Studies degree. You may not receive a second or subsequent degree in Liberal Studies with a different focus.

Graduation Outcomes
