Small Group Session

Our small group sessions include no more than 5 students. You will meet with your Pathway Advisor, learn about degree requirements and the student portal, and sign up for classes.

Individual Session

This is a one-on-one session with your Pathway Advisor. There are a limited number of these appointments, and we may be booking into the future. If you find that’s the case, we encourage you to look at our group options.

Group Session

This session is larger (up to 25 students), and is for students in any Pathway. You will meet Advising staff and other new students, learn about degree requirements and the student portal, and sign up for classes. 

For Cardiovascular Technology, Health Sciences, Medical Assisting, Nutrition & Dietetics, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy, Surgical Technology:

This is a group Advising Session for students newly accepted to SMCC who are pursuing our Nursing program. Note that this session also meets the Nursing Info Session admission requirement.
