SMCC Foundation scholarship applications are NOW OPEN for the 2025-26 academic year. You can apply online now by visiting
www.smccME.edu/scholarshipapplication or visiting MySMCC > My Student Guide > My Finances & Aid.
To receive priority consideration for scholarships, submit your application by Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 5 p.m. Applications received after this time will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and subject to available funds .
Once you’ve submitted your application, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know we received it. By completing the online application, you are automatically considered for scholarships offered by the SMCC Foundation, the Maine Community College System and the Foundation for Maine’s Community Colleges.
Although not required, we recommend that you complete the “personal statement” section of the application to help us better understand your circumstances.
Over 1,000 students applied for approximately 400 scholarships last year. A small investment of time in completing the application could result in hundreds of dollars in scholarship aid for your education.
NOTE: Even Free College Scholarship recipients will be considered for SMCC Foundation Scholarships!
If you are selected to receive a scholarship, you will be notified through your SMCC email before the 2025-2026 academic year.
